Creative Kids of Berlin

Project Overview

Creative Kids of Berlin organises discovery and art-workshops for children. This project tries to redesign the existing website of Creative Kids of Berlin (CKOB) _ https://www.ckob.de/ _ to enhance its user-friendliness. CKOB is an organization dedicated to organizing discovery and art workshops for children between the ages of 1 and 14. The primary objective is to create a website that effectively showcases the diverse range of workshops offered, while also ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for parents and guardians seeking to enroll their children in these engaging activities. By implementing a more user-friendly design, the website will provide a platform where visitors can easily navigate, explore, and register for workshops suitable for their child’s age and interests.

Target Audience

  • Parents seeking educational and entertaining workshops
  • Kids of various ages

Challenges and Analysis

  • Structure: The website’s appearance lacks consistency and coherence, with an excessive variety of backgrounds, themes, and font sizes.
  • Page Flow: The page flow of the website is disorganized and confusing, making it difficult for users to navigate smoothly.
  • Usability: The website lacks sufficient information about the workshops, making it less informative and not as useful as it could be.

Project Goals

  • Appealing and playful appearance: Design a visually engaging and enjoyable website that reflects the creative and energetic nature of the workshops.
  • Good structure: Implement an intuitive and well-organized website structure for easy navigation and accessibility of information.

User Testing

During the user testing phase, we tested the redesigned website’s usability and appearance. We defined three tasks related to registering for workshops, staying updated on upcoming events, and evaluated usability. Additionally, three open-ended questions were used to gather feedback on the user experience. The testing aimed to improve the website’s design and ensure a positive user perception.

Task 1: Find an Exciting Workshop for Unforgettable Kids Birthday Celebration

Task 2: Find a Workshop Option within Your Limited Budget

Task 3 : Stay Connected with Our Upcoming Workshops
